Collapsing bottled water

The Refresh kiosk filters, flavors, carbonates, and bottles water
at the point of use, instead of in a bottling plant. We cut vending
operators' variable costs and CO2 emissions by 80%.

Meet the Team

Eliza Becton is our product lead. Her background is in user-experience design at various startups, with end-to-end experiences from ideation to market research to prototyping. Eliza graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Masters in Industrial Design, and from Yale University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Frank Lee is our operations and engineering lead. His background is in consumer products, and he has worked in manufacturing, brand management, and business development for Procter & Gamble. He also spent a year at a startup in the water irrigation space. Frank is an MIT Sloan MBA, and graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sean Grundy is our business development and finance lead. He led the development of water conservation and agriculture projects in Southwest China, and more recently worked in corporate finance at a major plastics recycling company. Sean holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and obtained his BA from Princeton University.
